Bodie ticks off long-term goal

GOALS: Bodie moved into his own home.

Bodie took a courageous leap of independence this week when he moved out of his family home and into a place of his own. The avid gamer was a mix of excitement and nerves as his long-term goal became a reality.

In between moving furniture and unpacking boxes, Bodie gave us a tour of the house, and said he was looking forward to setting up his room and playing some of his favourite video games- of course!

Bodie gave his grandmother a big hug as the last few boxes were moved in. It was an emotional event for the whole family, and even Nan said she had shed a few tears during the moving process.

Our Brighter Access staff were happy to assist Bodie in achieving his goal!
